Amaladass SJ studied both philosophy and theology, Sanskrit and Indian Studies. He is a professor of Indian philosophy and religion at the Jesuit School Satya Nilayam in Chennai, South India and there is also a director of the Research Institute for Intercultural philosophy and Sanskrit. Since 1990, he regularly gives guest lectures in Vienna and Rome.

Especially interesting for Bharatanatyam dance students and for anyone interested in dance, religion and aesthetics in general.
